How Does It Work?Six Sigma implementation applies the “action learning model”, Train-Plan-Apply-Review. This gives your business the opportunity to apply each of the Six Sigma Tools to a real business project. Train: These sessions consist of intense training, including long hours, homework, tests and deliverables. Plan: Each session will end with one-on-one planning between the candidates and the Master Black Belt/Trainer. Apply: Each candidate is given three weeks between training sessions to work with project teams. This is a full-time job and requires complete devotion. Mentors will provide on-site support during this time. Review: The first day of each training session begins with report-outs, during which time projects will be reviewed and a gap analysis to deliverables conducted. Champions are invited and encouraged to attend. The certification of a Black Belt is a seven (7) month process, during which time candidates must successfully complete two projects before becoming a certified Black Belt.
